So we don't post on this anymore... because none of us any longer live in M-10. But that doesn't mean the memories don't live on in my heart. because they do. Hey... so I kind of want to know how everyone's life is! please? haha.. maybe you want to know how mine is too... whoops!

my life is great.... i only wish i could get my name changed and finish moving in. that would be lovely. AND i am only taking 12 credit hours... yes... i am a slacker. But i also have to cook food every night. usually. AND i like my job. for the most part.

so i'm currently in a super cheap hotel in hill city, south dakota, and I decided to let you know that i have survived the cross country trip thusfar. we're going to see mt. rushmore in about an hour or so and i'm way excited. worry not, though. pictures will be taken :)

so we actually left our house on the 24th COMPLETELY empty. it was the weirdest thing. especially having to pack up 30 years worth of junk. we had these movers come and pack it all up for us and one of them was seriously a giant!! no joke. he was huge. my brother and i laughed about it for a while and then quickly got out of his way whenever he was coming toward us with about 10 boxes in his arms. so we left (so hard) and went westward. as we drove through west virginia, my mom said, "well, we are currently homeless and unemployed in west virginia. it's rather fitting."

we then went the rest of the day (13 HOURS!!!) to st. louis and stopped for a day with my sister, brother-in-law, and adorable nephew. and i think i got enough pictures of my nephew to make a flip book. we then went on to nauvoo, winter quarters, and are now in south dakota. tomorrow we'll head on over to byu-idaho for michelle to look around, and then we'll be on our way (finally) to utah to close on our house! it's been an eventful and fun trip :)

alright fine, i'm officially weird. but i just wanted to say that i fail at this whole blogging thing and i'm sorry! okay so, alex, i had no idea what you wrote in spanish on your post so i decided to use a crappy online translation thing and this is what they gave me: "I learned like to cook bean".... hahahahahaha i think that you probably knew what you were talking about and this online translation is just dumb. oh, and i'm sorry about your nazi teacher! good thing you'll have a break after this till school starts again!

so my life. we have a house in utah. it's in centerville which is a little north of salt lake. which means that it's only like 45 minutes away and we have REAL FOOD AND FREE LAUNDRY OPPORTUNITIES, ALEX!!!!!! yay. oh and we're moving out officially on july 24th and driving cross country for a couple days to see some fun sights :). i'm really really excited and so ready to be done with my job. LESS THAN A MONTH!!!! and then i have summer for a month before school starts!!! ohyayohyayohyay! (i think that was from raising helen, or something... i'm such a movie freak)

ok well i'm off. bed sounds nice, but it's unlikely that i'll actually do anything about that for another hour or something... typical.

i am alive

i am learning to cook all kinds of food. so jeannine and i will be eating good next year. yeeeeeeeah. i supppppose you guys can come to. no husbands allowed though. only once a month for a special husband day. deal?

my friend jackie and i went down to lago de atitlan this weekend. needless to say we almost died our fair share of times. took about 8 chicken buses just to get there. had to escape our hostel by climbing the fence, and were seriously stalked by a sketchy guatemalan man in purple pants. good times

um amanda...i am excited for your wedding in 30 days? 23 to my birthday so i am figuring its 30 yeah? and reuniticion will be phenomenal. reunition...im sending that one to webster

things are good. a little more than 2 more weeks here than party time with the roommates and cookies. cant ask for more than that huh?

Hello?..................... Is ANY BODY THERE????? (echo)

really where is everyone? honestly i have been checking this thing daily and no one is here! anywho. life updates. so I got my bishop interview done to take out my endownments... one down one to go! I am so happy right now. One step closer to summer being done!

ALSO i have made big progress on wedding stuff. so here's what is going down. i am doing my reception in a chapel, but not a big stake center. It has carpet. I am having a draped ceiling. AND its kind of like a garden theme.... kind of. there will be lots of fake trees and stuff. NO COLUMNS. My centerpieces are going to be white and yellow tulips... we might do real because it might be cheaper. And purple tablecloths. and my bouquet is going to be white hydrangeas with purple roses and bridesmaids will have white hydrangeas with yellow roses and a little smaller. AND there are these cool flower balls that people are doing that i might have standing on the food table... they will prolly be fake.

AND i have glasses. go figure. i only wear them when i drive though. and in class(when i have it in fall)

so that's my life right now.......

Don't hate me for having no life alex. Not all of us get to have crazy adventures and near death experiences everyday. :) but i still love you. and i am glad that you have not died.

Life is good. I am either working or making wedding plans or talking to brad. that's it. good life huh? Work is REALLY slow right now. Who knew that an economic depression would keep people from coming in to deposit money. anywho. that's work. its fun. but people like to talk my ear off. and no one is nearly as funny as my m10 buddies.

So wedding plans... slightly hilarious/slash not. I finally know what i want to do. like... the style i want to use for decorations. ITS SO HARD. seriously. I have libby trying to convince me to do one thing and my mom another... meh. but, as i said i know what i want to do now so its all good!!!! at least i didn't have only a month to plan like Jenna J. CRAZY.

i went to oregon last weekend. talk about AMAZING!!!! it is so pretty up there!!! The people are hilarious. WEll looks wise. Everyone i saw i wanted to take pictures of and send them to you guys. I did take pictures which i will post on here.... but that won't be for another month seeing as how i left my camera in oregon. I decided Brad's family is cool. we will get along splendidly.

hahaha my apologies to alex for sucking at posting.

whew, now that that's off my shoulders.... life for me now is... just going. i am STILL working (and why they still want me after a month of not knowing what i'm doing is beyond me!) from 9-5 and i am proud to say that i'm am also still running at 6:30 before work! amazing, i know. so yeah, life is slow. i'm not learning spanish, dancing with little 8 year old girls, planning a wedding, or anything exciting. just missing my m10 girls :)

oh, and i may have FINALLY figured out my internet. i've tried practically everything and nothing's seemed to work. so this better work. and if it does, we are going to have a major session on thursday to discuss LOST and our lives!!! so again, i'll keep you updated.

ummm.... oh. ha. and big news. we might have sold our house. or at least this family (who happen to be MORMON) put an offer on the house and it's going off the internet. we'll probably end up moving late july or early august and i'll just quit my job then and come out with the family!

my personal life is good... but slow. personal details upon request ;)

so i am here. in xela. which is the code name for quetzaltenango i guess you would say. its going to rain soon and i am dreading walking back to my house.

i have no idea what i am doing here. i suck at spanish. my first day here i went to bed at 8.

but things are getting better. i miss home a lot. there are so many little things that i take for granted.

although the food here is fabulous. and i have never seen any place more stunning in my life. its indescribable.

i am going to tikal on thursday. wish me luck and pray i dont have a rerun of last time i visited mayan ruins.

So last night i woke up at 2:45 and felt a little cramped up so i was like "dang! I started in the middle of the night again. So i went into my kitchen to get some pain relief and all of a sudden i was like, WHOA! what in the world is going on with my stomach? Next thing i knew I was until 7 AM with the runs, throwing up and unable to sleep because my stomach was going crazy. Basically I wanted to die. I honestly thought, "please just let me die."

But at seven there was good news! Brad and i called the temple and we now have an official wedding date!! it is at noon (utah time) on august 16th! woohoo! AND i finally fell asleep after that and now i don't feel like i am going to die. tada!
